Some times myself very confuse whether a YB should do everything people requested? Otherwise these complainants will further complaint us.
I was driving just now and received a call from public who complaint about the traffic light in Pandan Indah which had broken down and caused traffic jam.
I told the fellow to call the no. that posted at the traffic light as I was driving without handfree. That fellow keep on asking me to do so and I told him I was driving. Moreover that area is belongs to Cempaka I am in Teratai. He was frustrating and then hung up the phone.
Before he hung up the phone I told him that this JKR is not belongs to either MPAJ or state government, it is governed by the Federal government, there is no other place we can call except the no. on the traffic lights.
As usual this fellow mentioned "I vote for you, you have to do this to me...." I wonder how can people expect us to do from A-Z? Moreover, I felt that people in general do not care whether this is your scope of work or not, but expect you for solving all their frustrations.
If I can't do it, I will tell them straight. However, this is the answer which most people do not like to hear.....
There was comment in my website asking me to take some rest. Nevertheless, general people do not expect me to rest. I've got flu in the past few days, today getting better. In the past few days I did not rest, in turn I attending 2 full days meeting, plus one day site visit. How can I rest when people do not understand our roles as a State Assemblyman?
I though the haze had just gone, we should feel a bit relax. However, in these few days a bigger 'bomb' is exploding - Influenze A (H1N1)!
I've got a friend who just came back from China, he complaint that how lously the health check that Malaysia airport had offered. He told me that in China before they can get off the plane some very professional health check personnels with full suit, using the machines termometer 'gun' to check each passengger; When he arrived back in KLIA, those so call 'Medical Personnel' only collecting the health declaration card at the custom! In fact, you only need to write 'whether you've got fever or not' and in most cases you don't know you are sick until the flu burst out!
How naive and ignorence the Health Minister had performed. You think people will tell you the truth in that medical card? If one cannot confirm whether he/she got flu or not surely he/she say no, otherwise he/she will be quarantine for 7 days!
After a few days trying to 'resist' the virus of flu finally I lost to those virus. Do I need to quarantine myself for 7 days? I hope I can but some of the people may complaint 'we cannot have out ADUN missing for a few days' (there is a person made this complaint when I was detained by the police due to the candle light vigil).
Gals & guys don't worry I am not getting the influenza A, I had been running here and there in the past few days and do not get enough rest. However, looking at my timetable, there is not enough a single morning/afternoon/evening that I can rest.
As a resident in Malaysia I think our life will shorten by at least 10 years due to the annual haze problem. It is very shamful to say that those haze creators in Sumantera are mostly Malaysian companies. I wonder how can these companies are so selfish, they are earning their every cents on the expenses of all our health!
Every year our government will say "yes, yes we will talk to Indonesian government"... Then what happen? We all still suffering with all these haze every year?
Foreign Minister and Health Minister, you owe us an explaination!

Semua negeri harus mengikut jejak Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang untuk mengehadkan penggunaan beg plastik
Kami mengalu-alukan pengumuman Kerajaan PR Pulau Pinang
sempena sambutan Hari Alam Sekitar Sedunia bahawa mulai Bulan Julai
setiap
Hari Isnin merupakan "Hari Tanpa Beg Plastik".
Beg Plastik merupakan sesuatu produk yang
susah untuk dilupuskan. Meskipun Beg Plastik Biodegrable pun memerlukan
kegunaannya.
Selatan Australia telah mengumumkan larangan pengunaan
beg plastik sejak Bulan Mei tahun ini. Hong Kong pula akan mengenakan
bayaran HKD 50sen (lebih kurang RM0.25) untuk setiap beg
plastik. Manakala Negeri China telah melaksanakan Akta Pengehadan
Penggunaan Beg Plastik sejak Bulan Jun tahun lalu. Satu kajian tentang
kesan selepas setahun pelaksanaannya telah mendapati ia telah menjimatkan 1.6juta tan petroleum.
Kerajaan PR Negeri Pulau Pinang menetapkan setiap Hari Isnin
